HOW IT WORKS
Fill the bag with waste and rubbish at your leisure. When the bag is full, contact us to book your collection. Monkey Waste will collect, transport and dispose of the waste for you. Whether you’re at home or at the shops, we can organise a contact-free collection any day of the week in Cornwall.
01. BUY IT
Choose between the MONKEYBAG or the larger, GORILLABAG. Send us an enquiry or give us a call to order your bag and we will deliver it to you as soon as possible.
02. BAG IT
Secondly, place the bag within 4 metres of the roadside. Then, fill the bag with waste and rubbish at your leisure. Don’t panic, you have up to 6-months to book your free collection.
03. BOOK IT
When the bag is full and you’re ready to book your collection, you can call us on 07515 921477. Alternatively, send us a message and we will call you back as soon as we can.

DO'S AND DON'ts
You can throw away all kinds of rubbish using our bulk bags, but there are certain items which can’t be collected. Find out more below.

Garden and green waste – soil, grass, hedge trimmings, plants, wood.
Household waste – furniture, household appliances, carpets, packaging, paper, cardboard, office equipment.
Construction waste – rubble, bricks, sand, timber, vegetation, kitchen/bathroom rip-outs.
Bulky waste – Furniture, household appliances, carpets, DIY waste.
Plasterboard/gypsum – classified as specialist waste. Must be segregated and stored in its own bag.
NOT ACCEPTED
Hazardous or harmful waste – chemicals, solvents, gas bottles, aerosols, batteries, paint tins, clinical waste, sharps (needles).
Liquid waste – all types of liquid; hazardous or non-hazardous (oil, paint, solvents, pesticides, food).
Electrical waste – large electrical appliances such as washing machines should be collected using our man and van service.
Food waste – food waste should not be put in the bag. However, we will happily collect it using our man and van service.

WHAT IS A WASTE BULK BAG?
Waste bulk bags, also known as skip bags or dumpy bags, are made from 100% recyclable, super strong material called polypropylene.
Our bags have been designed to withstand the heaviest of materials. The only differences between the Monkeybag and Gorillabag are the size and weight allowances.
HOW DO I ORDER MY BAG?
To order your bag, simply send us a message or give us call. We can discuss the best bag for the job and deliver it anywhere in Cornwall.
WHERE DO I PLACE THE BAG?
Place the bag approximately 4 metres from the roadside. This will prevent you from having to move the bag when you’re ready to book the collection. Also, it will enable us to collect the bag quickly and efficiently.
HOW LONG IS THE COLLECTION VALID FOR?
The collection service is valid for 6-months from the date you receive the bag. In addition, and we will collect the bag anywhere in Cornwall.
HOW DO I BOOK THE COLLECTION?
Because Monkey Waste operates 7-days a week, we will be able to collect the bag on a date of your choosing.
NB: Collection in Cornwall only. Additional charges will apply for locations outside Cornwall.
DO I NEED A PERMIT?
No, you do not need to worry about a skip permit if the bag is positioned on private land. However, if you plan to keep the bag on a roadside where you usually park for example, you will need to consider a skip permit.
DO YOU COLLECT THIRD PARTY BAGS?
Yes! We are able to collect third party bags at very competitive prices. Although, please bear in mind that the same rules apply for positioning the bag and prohibited items.
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY WASTE?
All the waste we collect is transported to a local recycling centre in Cornwall for sorting and disposal. In addition, Monkey waste aims to reuse any salvageable waste before it reaches the recycling system.
